StubHub Native App

Apple Watch App

GOALS

As a launch partner with Apple we set out to make getting into events easy, and provide quick information at a glance. In the initial version we shipped two key features, my tickets and nearby events.

PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED

StubHub customers needed an easy way to get their mobile tickets and event information on the go. How might we make it easier to get into events, and take your tickets anywhere?

Native Apps

GOALS

The StubHub Native app had for a while been a very utilitarian app. Since coming on board I helped drive changes that not only increased conversion, but event discovery and personalization. My team led the charge to change the IA, add in personalization, and make the app more engaging through thoughtful details such as adding artist, team, and venue information as well as mobile tickets.

PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED

As someone who goes to events, it's hard to find the right event at the right time. Sometimes I know the event I want to go to, and sometimes I might want to browse other events. How can I discover, plan and go all in 1 experience?

HYPOTHESIS

Adding personalization, recommendations, and updating the navigation and search to make finding and browsing easier will lead to more event discovery and ticket purchases. Adding artist, team and venue details will give users the extra information they need to make an informed purchase without having to leave the app.

PROCESS

Using Lean UX, my team worked cross-functionally across the organization to gain user insights, requirements, brainstorms to build and ship our new iOS and Android apps.
